I had a home for my whole life -- 10 years -- and then one day they decided they didn't want me anymore. I was pretty scared when I first came to the shelter. There were new people and lots of new cats -- I am declawed so I knew I couldn't defend myself if they picked on me.
But I'm doing better now. I am in a quiet room with Cindy and Goldie, and I can sit and look out the window. My favorite game is tapping a toy mouse off a shelf and watching it fall to the ground. I've got one of the volunteers trained so she picks it up and I can tap it off again.
I'm affectionate and like being petted. If you want to win me over, I really like a good chin scratch. So what do you think? Can I go home with you?
